What's Happening at the Nursery

Spring is here!

The cold weather is behind us and that means it's time to bring the color back! Plants are arriving every day at the nursery, along with some beautiful new pottery. This year, we'll have lots of cold hardy options, so that you can be sure to plant things that can take what Old Man Winter can dish out.

These pots are hot! Firepots are a beautiful way to add style and warmth to an outdoor entertainment area.

It's vegetable season! It's time to start turning and amending the soil in your vegetable gardens, sowing seeds and planting some of the cool season vegetables that can tolerate frost and freeze, such as collard greens and cabbage. In a few weeks, we'll have peppers and tomatoes, and a whole array of delicious vegetables ready to plant. And just to show you that you can plant in anything, we've created a potty planter (at right). With outside the box thinking, you can have a creative and productive vegetable garden.
