Create and take home a beautiful bouquet for Thanksgiving.
This hands-on workshop is always lots of fun! Local flower expert and emeritus Kerby’s Nursery employee, Jo, will guide you through the process of creating a custom arrangement. Don’t worry about bringing a thing! We’ll provide all the flowers, greenery, containers, and tools for you to build your bouquet.
The 10 am workshop is SOLD OUT.

Added Session: Spring Veggie Gardening Seminar

We’re hosting it again since last weekend was so rainy. If you didn’t make it out then, join us this weekend!
It’s veggie season! It’s time to plant tomatoes, peppers, collards, and more. Plus, we’re thrilled to have Organic Vegetables and Herbs in stock.
This seminar will discuss planting, watering, pest control, and harvesting for veggies that can grow in our zone. Be inspired to foster a garden that will add to your kitchen!
We recommend arriving early to park and make your way to the Kerby’s Nursery Greenhouse where the event is held.

Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 30, 10 am Sharp – FREE EVENT
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is a free event for the children of our community. Kerby’s staff stuffs 6,000 eggs and places them around the nursery for kids to find. Lots of fun for the whole family!

What do plants and yoga have in common? They both promote health and wellness. Kristen Molinaro of Keystone Yoga presents a monthly yoga class at Kerby’s Nursery, so you can share them together. Whether it’s your first time trying yoga or you’re an experienced practitioner, you are welcome.
Please bring your own mat; water will be provided, or you can bring your own water to drink. The class will take place on the boardwalk in Kerby’s Greenhouse; feel free to bring a towel to place under your mat as well.

Earth Day Celebration

Earth Day reminds us of the importance of taking care of our natural resources for ourselves and future generations. Celebrate nature at Kerby’s Nursery with inspiring garden seminars, a tour of our own Homegrown National Park®, and the delicious Seasoned Green food truck.
10 am: Landscaping with Florida Natives – Free Seminar
Florida Native Plants may seem mysterious and out of reach for our typical landscape gardens. But they don’t have to be! What’s more, they provide valuable benefits that are worth considering for your yard. In this seminar, you’ll learn about some of the most popular Florida Natives, some that you may not be familiar with, and how to create a native paradise in your garden.
11 am: Tour of Homegrown National Park – Free
We will host a free guided tour of our onsite Homegrown National Park, which contains only Florida native plants and includes a pollinator habitat.
11 am – 2 pm: Seasoned Green Food Truck
Seasoned Green will serve their all-vegan food to delight your taste buds for Earth Day. You haven’t seen vegan food like this – it will surprise you! Food is available for purchase.
1 pm: Butterfly Gardening – Free Seminar
Florida Natives lead the way in bringing native butterflies and pollinators to your garden. Learn how to create a butterfly hangout in your garden, combining Florida Native Plants with some of your favorite butterfly attractors.
