Join us for an engaging weekend as we celebrate veggies and have some fun! FREE festivities include a vegetable gardening seminar and planting demo followed by line dancing on Saturday, plus veggie-themed activities for kids on Saturday and Sunday, including Chalk the Walk, veggie hopscotch, veggie tattoos, and more. We’re planning to have a hoot at this hootenanny!

The holidays can get a little crazy with school events, gift-buying, Ugly Christmas Sweater parties, cookie decorating, and more, so Kerby’s is creating an opportunity to experience the enchantment of the season.

Return to Wonder is a chance to go back to the delight you felt as a child when the holidays were upon us. We want you to enjoy the beauty of the season with gorgeous plants, holiday decor, Christmas music, and a sense of peace in the garden.

Stroll through the Nursery, decorated with holiday joy, and celebrate a Return to Wonder.

From 9 am – 12 noon, Quail Run Coffee will be at Kerby’s, serving delicious coffee drinks along with Italian sodas and more.

Spellbound Sourdough will be here for a Pop-Up Shop from 10 am – 12 noon (or until they sell out). Enjoy delicious sourdough bread in a variety of flavors along with other favorites like banana bread, scones, and more.

Spend a magical afternoon in the garden surrounded by herbs, creativity, and the spirit of community.

As you enjoy light bites and drinksHeather of Spellbound Sourdough will guide you through the enchanting world of sourdough. The first portion of the workshop will teach you how to care for a sourdough starter and feed your own to take home, giving you confidence to begin your own baking journey. In the second part of our time together, you will mix your own focaccia dough and then enjoy decorating it using fresh herbs and veggies – turning it into a tantalizing, edible masterpiece to bake after class at home.

Every guest will also receive:

📜recipe packet featuring Heather’s sourdough focaccia recipe
🥖 A cozy, creative afternoon filled with connection and garden charm

Imagine a serene escape where movement meets nature. Yoga in the Garden is more than a class — it’s an experience designed to rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit in a lush outdoor setting. Kristen Molinaro, owner of Keystone Yoga, presents this monthly yoga session at Kerby’s Nursery, and whether it’s your first time trying yoga or you’re an experienced practitioner, you are welcome.

At the class, participants will receive a coupon for 20% off one full-priced item at Kerby’s Nursery, valid through September 30, 2026, as well as a complimentary plant to help you on your wellness journey.

When fall veggie gardening season rolls around, Florida gardeners get to reset and grow a whole new round of deliciousness before winter even thinks about showing up.

If you’re looking for a few fresh ideas to feel even more confident in your veggie garden, join us for our FREE Fall Veggie Gardening Seminar: an upbeat, info‑packed session that’ll have you planting like a pro and loving Florida’s “second spring.” Leafy greens, root vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, and more can all be a part of your edible endeavors. Kerby’s is hosting an after-hours Sip and Shop where fall fun comes together: a Pumpkin Patch preview, a complimentary dirty soda bar, and line dancing that keeps the whole place buzzing. The Flower Patch will be full of seasonal color so you can pick your own bouquet (available for purchase), and the Treasure Tower will be cascading water for your gem mining enjoyment (available for purchase). Enjoy the easygoing vibe of an autumn evening as you explore Mother Nature’s gifts in the Nursery. It’s the perfect mix of festive, flavorful, and just plain fun, all wrapped in Kerby’s signature garden charm.

Line dancing led by Miss Emily will begin at 5:30 pm, so don’t forget your boots!

Kerby’s Fall Kickoff returns on Saturday, September 26, and it’s all about that first breath of autumn magic with the unmistakable Florida version of fall, the one where the pumpkins arrive before the cool weather does. The Pumpkin Patch and Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt open for the season, the garden mums and veggies start showing off, and the nursery gets that cozy‑but‑still‑sunny vibe we wait for all year. The Flower Patch will be bursting with fall blooms for picking, and the Treasure Tower will be available for mining adventures. Wander through fresh plant arrivals, discover your next fall favorite, soak up the first hints of autumn color, and enjoy a day that feels like fall, Florida‑style. At Kerby’s, fall starts now.

Create a beautiful fall table centerpiece! You’ll use succulents and accessories to adorn the top of a pumpkin for the perfect autumn décor. Don’t worry about bringing a thing – we’ll provide all the supplies and tools for you to build your living decoration. After the season, you can move the succulents to a pot, and they can become permanent members of your houseplant collection.

This event takes place during Kerby’s Fall Kickoff, where fall begins in Florida! Enjoy the opening of our Pumpkin Patch, Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, and Hay Maze, plus more.

Just in time for Spooky Season, come dressed in your most enchanting attire: flowing skirts, velvet, lace, cozy layers, or anything that makes you feel delightfully spellbound by the season.

This immersive decorating experience invites every guest to craft a one-of-a-kind keepsake. All materials are provided, including a 3-foot cinnamon broom ready to adorn with preserved florals, ribbons, autumn treasures, and whimsical trinkets to bring your besom to life with a little seasonal magic.

Join us for a hands-on Fire Cider Make & Take Workshop, where you’ll create your own batch of this zesty traditional herbal tonic while learning the history and benefits behind one of herbalism’s most beloved remedies. This workshop will be led by herbalist Tricia Little, owner of Healthy Happy Hippie.

Fire cider is a traditional folk remedy made by infusing raw apple cider vinegar with fresh ingredients like garlic, onion, ginger, turmeric, citrus, spicy peppers, and immune-supportive herbs such as thyme and rosemary. Most commonly used to boost the immune system, improve digestion, and reduce inflammation, this herbal tonic is especially popular during cold and flu season.

When you leave, you’ll have your own handcrafted jar of Fire Cider to finish infusing at home along with a deeper understanding of the ingredients used and the confidence to continue incorporating herbal remedies into your everyday life.

This weekend we’re highlighting beautiful butterflies that make our hearts soar and our environments happy. Let’s make our gardens a haven for cute caterpillars that turn into precious pollinators.

Get in on the experience, Saturday-Sunday, October 24-25:

-Butterfly plants galore! Choose from a plethora of beautiful flowers, shrubs, and vines to start or add to your own butterfly garden. Both host plants and nectar plants will be available, along with information about which plants different butterflies use to host their caterpillars.

-Fun for Kids: Butterfly Tattoos, Chalk Butterfly Drawings, and More

Join us in the Kerby’s Greenhouse for a fun, beginner-friendly painting event celebrating Butterfly Bonanza. All artistic levels are welcome. Painting will be led by our visiting artist, Christi, former owner of Scarlet Button.

We’ll be painting a one-of-a-kind butterfly flowerpot inspired by the beautiful visitors to our gardens. And don’t worry about drawing your butterfly – the pot will be pre-drawn for you, so you can simply pick up a brush, choose your colors, and let your imagination take it from there. You can add personal touches and accents to the pre-drawn butterfly and the rest of the pot to make it all your own.

After you have completed your masterpiece, you will install a lovely butterfly plant into your pot. Once you get home, your creation will be ready for your garden.

Step into the gardens at Kerby’s Nursery for a morning of bread, botanicals, and a touch of Halloween magic. This enchanting hands-on workshop led by Spellbound Sourdough blends the timeless craft of sourdough with the beauty of the garden, creating an experience that feels equal parts creative, whimsical, and unforgettable.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned bakers alike, you’ll learn the fundamentals of sourdough while mixing your own focaccia dough, feeding an active sourdough starter to take home, and decorating a beautifully fermented focaccia with fresh herbs, seasonal vegetables, edible flowers, and other garden-inspired ingredients.
