Do you like to eat? Do you enjoy beautiful flowers? Most of us would answer “yes” to both questions! Food and beauty are just two reasons to encourage butterflies and bees to party in your yard. And Florida native plants lead the way in bringing native pollinators to your garden. Learn how to create a pollinator hangout, combining Florida native plants with some of your favorite flowers to attract butterflies and bees. We’ll discuss host plants, nectar plants, and tips for designing and caring for your pollinator garden.

In this seminar, we’ll answer the following questions:

-What is pollination?

-What is a pollinator?

-Why is biodiversity important?

-How do Florida native plants play a role?

-What can I do in my garden to increase pollinators?
