Donation Requests
Kerby’s Nursery is proud to be a part of our community and to encourage the efforts of schools and nonprofit organizations working to strengthen the Greater Brandon, Seffner, and Valrico area for all of us. We thank you for your support and for considering us in your fundraising efforts.
Donation Request Submission Guidelines:
- All donation requests should be submitted at least thirty (30) days before the date of your event. Please include your IRS 501(c)3 Determination Letter, if applicable, and any supporting documentation regarding your request. Your request may be dropped off at the Nursery, emailed to [email protected], or mailed.
- Kerby’s will consider requests from nonprofit organizations and their fundraising efforts in the Greater Brandon, Seffner, and Valrico area.
- Our primary giving focuses are school educational gardens, plant and agriculture-related education opportunities for children and students, and organizations providing support to our military and veterans. Other opportunities may be supported at our discretion.
- Requests are filled at the discretion of Kerby’s Nursery.
- Organizations are limited to one (1) request per twelve-month period.
- Donations may be given in the following forms:
- A Kerby’s Nursery gift card to be used as a fundraising raffle prize or as a fundraising auction item.
- In-kind donations of plants. Plants for donation are selected by Kerby’s.
- We do not make cash donations, provide sponsorships, or purchase advertising space.
- Kerby’s Nursery does not donate to individuals or for-profit entities, including employee/volunteer appreciation days and holiday events.
- Please remember that submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.
Due to the large volume of requests we receive, we are not able to reply to inquiries about the status of each request. If we wish to donate after receiving a request, we will contact you.
If accepted, the donation will be available for pick up in-store according to instructions in the email or phone call you receive.
