The Kerby’s Treasure Tower reimagines classic gem mining with a bright, multi‑level setup featuring a 65’ panning sluice, 5 waterfalls, and themed mining rough. Kids and adults can pan through their mining mix to reveal emeralds, tumbled gemstones, fossils, arrowheads, and other sparkling surprises. Every bag contains a unique assortment, making each visit a fresh adventure.
Created to blend learning with play, the Treasure Tower encourages kids to identify minerals, compare colors and textures, and explore natural history in a way that feels whimsical. The experience is self‑guided, easy for families to enjoy at their own pace.

The Treasure Tower is open during regular Nursery hours (Tuesday – Sunday).
Mining rough bags are available for purchase onsite or online here, with options tailored for a variety of interests.
How It Works:
✅ Stop by the Farmhouse (the building at the entrance to the Nursery from the parking lot) to pick out your treasure bag or give your name if you ordered yours online. Here is where you will also get a mining tray to use.
Bigger bag = bigger sparkle!
✅ Pour approximately one-fourth of the sand from your bag into your mining tray (you can do less based on the size of your bag and your preference). It works best to do multiple pours (don’t dump the entire bag at once) so you can sift through several times and pick out all the hidden treasures.
✅ Place the tray in the Treasure Tower stream.
✅ Swish and shake the tray as the water reveals your gems, crystals, fossils, and more!
✅ Uncover, collect, delight, show off, repeat. ☺️
