Do we carry dirt? No, we carry Soil.

Now, you might be asking, what’s the difference? Soil has life in it through living organisms, while dirt is dead. We want to grow our plants in beneficial soil!

Florida is notorious for poor soil conditions, and most of us here in Central Florida have the gray, fine sand in our yards. Unfortunately, this “soil” lacks the crucial nutrients that non-native plants need to thrive. Because of this, we recommend amending the ground with a good planting mix.

Below are our Top 4 Black Gold® Soils:

Black Gold Garden Compost Blend:
Designed for your ornamental and edible garden beds. Use for your acid-loving plants: Roses, Azaleas, Blueberries, Camellias, and Gardenias.

Black Gold Ultra Outdoor Planting Mix:
Formulated for planting trees, shrubs, veggies, and flowers. Helps retain soil moisture and improve organic matter to poor soils.

Black Gold Natural & Organic Potting Mix:
A multi-purpose blend for growing indoor and outdoor container plantings, hanging baskets, and raised beds.

Black Gold Flower & Vegetable Soil:
Suited to improve the structure of your outdoor garden beds. Ideal for flowers, edibles, raised beds, and landscape planting.
