An Air Plant (Tillandsia) is an epiphyte, which is a plant that grows on other plants but isn’t parasitic. It also means it gets its water and nutrients from the air, how neat! 😱 In spite of that, Air Plants still require watering, especially if kept indoors. So, here’s how we recommend watering Air Plants:

1. Fill up a bowl or tub with lukewarm spring, well, or rainwater
2. Submerge Air Plants into the water, ensuring the entire plant gets watered. You’ll know they’re fully watered once they go from a minty green to a bright green (see slide 4 in the post). Let plants sit in the water for about 15 minutes
3. Pull the plants out and place them root side up. Let sit for another 5 minutes. This helps drain the excess water to reduce rotting.
4. Repeat every 7-10 days and enjoy your healthy Air Plants ☺️

Anybody can sell you plants, we make sure you succeed.
