Have you ever gone out into your garden to deadhead your Hibiscus and wondered if you see a new bud about to open or one that’s spent? 🤔🌺

We struggle too! Here is how to tell new vs. old blooms on Hibiscus:

New blooms will be tightly wrapped in a cone shape and the center pistil will not be visible.

Old or spent Hibiscus blooms will appear wilted. Petals will be very loose and become papery or even soggy.

🌺Here’s a fun fact about Hibiscus: their blooms last for only one day! They open in the morning for pollinators and close at night to preserve energy!

Anybody can sell you plants, we make sure you succeed.
