Life is built on small moments that grow into something meaningful. Recently, Kim and I celebrated a fun milestone: we completed our 250th yoga class at Keystone Yoga.
Two hundred and fifty classes is no small accomplishment. It represents a ton of early mornings (our favorite class is at 6:15 am), days when motivation was high, and days when simply rolling out of bed and showing up was the victory. But in the end, one class led to another. One stretch became improved flexibility. One arm-balance pose became strength and stability. One moment of stillness turned into a habit of mindfulness. And before long, 250 classes had quietly accumulated into a powerful milestone.
Anyone who has planted a garden knows that small moments are important. A seed doesn’t become a thriving plant overnight. It takes patience, care, sunlight, and a willingness to keep showing up by watering, tending, and trusting the process. Wellness works the same way.
What makes this achievement even more special is the spirit behind it. Yoga, much like gardening, invites us to slow down and connect to our breath, our bodies, and the world around us. When practiced outdoors (like this coming Saturday at 10 am!), that connection becomes even stronger. Nature has a way of amplifying the benefits of movement and mindfulness.
Our milestone is also a reminder that progress doesn’t require giant leaps. It’s built through consistency. A short walk around the garden. A few minutes of stretching in the fresh air. Planting flowers in a container on your patio. Spending time outside doing something that nourishes both body and mind.
Amazing things grow when we commit to small positive habits. In the garden and in ourselves. We’re here to help you with both.
P.S. If you’re looking for a healthy way to give back to yourself, one session of Yoga in the Garden can be that for you. It’s one step toward health and wellness, and, who knows, it may just be one step on your way to 250. Join our yoga community this Saturday, April 11 at 10 am for a rejuvenating class in nature. Plus, you’ll get a coupon to Kerby’s and a complimentary plant to take home!
