Ordinarily, I write a couple of different newsletters each week. But as I sat down to write, I realized that whether you are a Kerby’s customer, a Kerby’s Houseplant Shop customer, or one of our amazing staff members, the message is the same. We are thankful for you. Without all of you, Kerby’s wouldn’t be the place that it is. We are grateful that we get to wake up each day and do something that we love, for people who appreciate what we do. We are looking forward to the holiday season and a new year ahead.

And on a holiday like Thanksgiving, it is the perfect time to reflect on the things around us that we are thankful for. It’s so easy when we get busy and stressed to forget to enjoy what and who we have around us. Here are a few of the things I’m thankful for:

For the sun that rises in the morning.
For the people we have around us.
For food on our tables
For the people who get up each day, put on scrubs, and treat the sick.
For those working tirelessly to deliver products and food to our homes.
For the neighbor who brings over a meal.
For the technology that allows us to connect, even when we aren’t together.
For real hugs from family and friends.

I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it for you to add to the list. What are you thankful for this year?
